Fire and life safety work is not the same trade as burglar alarms, even when it runs off the same panel. It's licensed separately, and we hold that licence: State of Louisiana Fire Marshal number F32, the credential that lets us sell and install monitored fire systems in a home rather than just talk about them. What goes in depends on the house, but the technology draws from the same list every time: fire alarms, life safety detection, smoke detectors, heat detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, built on Digital Monitoring Products and ESL Interlogix equipment and monitored so a fire doesn't wait for someone to be home to notice it.
Two things worth knowing before you call
If you're building new in Louisiana, this isn't optional: state law requires a residential fire system in new home construction, and we work with builders around Monroe to get the rough-in placed correctly before the walls close, not patched in after. And if you already own the house, ask your insurer about it anyway, because a monitored fire system commonly earns a discount on homeowner's insurance. Either way the estimate is free, and we design around the house you actually have.
